They look quite nice and are near some trails. Anyone stayed there, and are the trails any good?

Stayed a couple of years back. The trails were OK but short. Quite tight and flowy in places though. Depends how much riding you want to do. I think there's a longer natural ride you can append one of the waymarked routes to, but I can't remember where / when I saw it...
a natural ride passing Trallwm:

also plenty between there and Llanwyrtyd heading south
Stayed there back in June as my parents had rented the farmhouse. The trails there are OK (not up to the standard of Afan, but they were still pretty entertaining), and as above, it makes a good starting point for longer natural rides around the area. We also did a day's riding up at Nant-yr-Arian and a day at Brechfa, which are both fairly easy to get to.
Having just become a father two weeks ago, we may go back in September, as it's quite useful having trails on the doorstep for an hour's ride....
Thanks all.
nostoc - that route write up format is really good.
