did llandegla on friday but want to get a ride in tomorrow
anyone ride Penmachno this weekend or know if the roads are clear that way
if not anything within 1.5hrs from liverpool i could do?

i live near llangollen and all the hills here are 5-6" deep in snow llandegla is closed. i have friends who live in penmachno village, the road in to the village is ok-ish again there is similar amounts of snow on the hills. the A5 here in llangollen is a nightmare at the moment. i assume you will go on the a55 i have family in conwy, the roads there are fine but its snowing heavy and a fair bit still on the ground.

Hi,
Rode the first 10km of Penmachno yesterday (had to abort though due to failing light) and the trail was fine. Yes, there was snow on it but the riding was fine. The road into Penmachno village and from the village to the trail was fine, as was the A55 to Llanwrst road. Not sure whether it was snowing there this afternoon though!
