Heading out to Palm Springs at the end of Oct on an family hiliday with grandparents and aunties. I am keen to get a bit of riding in one day and take advantage of the extara babysitters.
Anybody ridden out there? Any recommendatios. For bike hire or tours/guides?

There's definitely riding to be done - it will be typical SoCal conditions: dry, dusty and rocky with fire-road climbs and nice flowing singletrack descents. Download the TrailForks app. for more info.
