Seriously considering this as a younger & bigger brother for my retro Ibis. It'd be taking the place of my Enduro, which I do really like, but now I'm in the Ibis fraternity... ๐Ÿ™„

Need to see it in the stealth black colour scheme, they haven't posted any pics of this yet ๐Ÿ™

Seeing as the normal Mojo is so capable you would have to be going some and have decent size balls to get the best from it.

it's more about the improvements/amendments over the standard Mojo that I'm liking (cable guides for seatpost remote, tapered headtube etc), plus I assume after 3 years they'll have made evolutionary changes to the layup etc? it's only half a pound heavier than the standard, so not a huge burden to bear ๐Ÿ™‚

no ISCG tabs, they don't work with the suspension/rear triangles path apparently. MRP and Ibis have collaborated to design a rather tasty guide for it though:

If you're thinking Hammerschmidt, the DW-link doesn't work well in the granny, so Ibis aren't interested... And yep, it does have the 12 x 135mm Maxle rear axle 8)

its not the half pound diff that will be the main difference, its the slacker HA that I think will have a greater impact from the non-HD(67 vs 69)....depends what you want out of it. I wouldnt use the HD as a predominantly XC bike.

almost about to order this bad boy... will have to wait till late April till it arrives though, not a bad thing as I need to sell some stuff to fund it!

What fork to go for I wonder? Lyric 2-step or Talas 36? Or is there another I should be considering?

I have... but it's fixed at 180mm, assuming you mean the N'dee? Think that'd be too much for general usage, brilliant if I was just going downhill I'm sure!

1st drop so start of April i recall.

Think white or green if we can get it.

Got a normal Mojo in black myself and they look a bit 'dull' in the shop. We try to get bright stuff in!
