Went for the first time and went out for a 'medium' paced road ride which apparently has an average speed of 16 - 17 mph

In short it was nothing like that. It was more like that pace on the flat.

Anyway anyone on here know how they determine the speed of a slow vs medium vs fast ride. I will ask next time but wondered if anyone on here knew
