Just came across their site while looking for Ti XC frame options. Not a brand I have heard of before but they seem to have a Ti XC hardtail in development. Has anyone come across them? Their frame's are in the £1300 range which I would assume means Taiwan or Chinese made.
What a really odd name for a company!
Their website looks as dodgy as they come, but then you can see they sell bikes through a poncy, artisan cafe - must be good
that will be from 1 of 3 titanium frame companies, so it's probably just as easy to to contact them direct and get a bike made to your spec for less money.
Having dealt with all 3 them, Waltly are definitely the easiest to work with and make the ti stuff for most of the "UK designed" titanium bike frame folks at the moment.
All I think when I hear the name Gloria is Van Morrison and Them, such a good tune
I also know an old dear called Gloria , can't imagine it gets used much nowadays for newborns, not trendy enough
OK, thank you. Maybe push that idea to the back burner then.
Not seen them before. Slight Chat GPT feel in the website copy but the bikes look pretty good. Decent geometry and tube dimensions (from what you can see on the site at least). Fair value too if they're Waltly frames or similar quality.
The copy and use of 'log book' feels a bit fairlight like to me. The site does give out a trying to hard vibe (not that I'd care about that if the frame was good). Thing that concerns me with going direct to the manufacturer is getting the specs wrong.
I looked at them three years ago when I was looking to buy a Ti road bike. I ended up with an Enigma but the guy who runs Gloria was very responsive on email and happy to answer my questions, much more so than J. Laverack.
