anyone had to claim for a stolen or lost bike abroad with insurance company?
i want to insure mine but knowing loop holes etc then they wont want to pay.

If you get 'away from home cover' then it should be covered (although there might be a caveat as to how long you can be abroad for).
Slightly different scenario, but I have M&S contents insurance including accidental damage away from home and I used it without problem to claim for cracking my Yeti ASR frame in the Alps.

my biggest worry is going to morzine, camping and someone stealing my bike from the tent when im using showers etc...??
