I'm sure zipping an extra layer of tyre is manageable when the set up is brand new. Try riding 5km in the wet then see how you get on..

Given the trouble a sleeping bag zip can cause, I don't see a zip that gets caked in shit / mud / grit is under tension on cornering and vulnerable to rocks etc will be even remotely close.

Plus if the zip is that loose when the tyre is already inflated, surely it'll swirm like Tommy Robinson at an Antifa protest?
