Absolutely stunning ride in leafy, loamy, fresh, wooded, singletrack, forest, farmland, open vistas, gloopy ditches, sunlight blinding, low hanging, up's and downs of the lower South Downs on the CX'er..

Just amazeballsz 8)

Just back from road ride round Surrey hills, quick lunch then out for some local trails - can't scrimp on a day like this ๐Ÿ™‚

Lovely morning spin, spent an hour reopening an old trail, then rode a bunch of new ones.

Did get out for a couple of hours. Full of cold and no power in the legs so felt like a bit of a slog. Still, I got out, so can't complain ๐Ÿ™‚

Did the Tour de Moor event around Dartmoor which was fun, nice early start too. Hadn't ridden for a month so the 52k was tough in places but the hills were OK to sit and spin. No sunshine though so bit jealous of you!

A carpet of freshly fallen leaves, then roast dinner out. Proper job sorta day, I only wish Autumn would last a little longer.

90k on the roadie. Probably the last ride of the year for the good bike as I'm away the next two weekends and then we're into November.

72 lumpy miles on the road bike, with 7,000ft of climbing. Tough first ride back on the Sunday Club Run for a few weeks. Got the layering just right too, so no cook/freeze/repeat, which was nice.

Rode 10 miles to a CX race, 10 mile race, 10 miles back. Wasn't really feeling great, nearly turned back on the way there. Fun course, if a little stop/starty. Standard rocky.

Raced, got lapped near the start /finish. Quite relieved I wouldn't have to go round again!

Nice to be out, though. Beautiful day but cold!

I went to Lee Quarry.

My freehub died. It was alright though; I put some of the stuff Jedi showed me into practice and hit some steep bits I'd always swerved before.

Jason - great pic. Being local to you I should recognise the trail but can't quite place it. Tunnel Hill somewhere ? Or Minley ?

Nice ride at 7am for a few hours on the local way-too-hard-for-me-to-ride-properly trails.

Jason, them's some funky looking wheels on your lad's Cube.

They are a pair of Crank Brother Cobalt 26" wheels I was using years ago. I put them in the loft as the 2nd hand value was so low it wasn't really worth selling them. My son has finally grown into them.

allthepies, that is Tanktraps at Swinley. It looks a bit different now all the trees are gone. And the pill box is the one between Labyrinth and the Old Dean Estate.

Ah! Yes, I must admit to not having ridden Swinley since the "new" trails were built ๐Ÿ˜ณ despite being within riding distance.
