Thinking of popping over tomorrow. Thought there was a race last weekend but can't find any reports.

Not been on Aston Hill, but yesterday rode around Ashridge and then over Wiggington and into the back of Dancers End - drying nicely - but Aston will be still as slippery as buggery.
I raced there on Sunday. (really good event too, there's a race report and over a thousand pictures linked to on one of the southerndownhill forums, I'm the one in the Marmite top)
Excellent conditions. Pretty much perfect for DH to be honest.

Conditions were fantastic on Sunday, dry, but not dusty/loose dry. Great event.

yep another bump here the race on sunday was brilliant
as were the bacon butties
excellent conditions a bit sticky but my bike cane home spotless for the first time this year 🙂
i rode there on friday and was very slippy but still rideable and lots of fun
