Getting the the stanchions into the lowers on my Lyrik forks? took me kin ages last night trying to get both legs into the seals at the same time without pushing the wiper lips into the fork or the springs popping off!!

There must be a knack?

Hmmm, on my X-Fusion forks you can just do one at a time. Some grease on the seals helps.

I wrap a bit of tape round each stanchion and remove the springs from the seals and place around the stanchion where I have put the tape (not to scratch the coating).

Bit of red rum (or equivalent grease / fluid) on seals and slide in stanchions.

Once in place, slide springs over to energise the seals (the springs energise the lip against the stanchion)

Job done.

It just kind of goes tbh. Put one side in fully then gently walk the other one in.
