[#9302150]

Just looking at a potential new fork for my 5010 Mk II and I'm thinking of the Pike (got a Revelation so far). however I can't find any recent one with 140mm travel, they all seem to be 150 or 160 mm. New one are Boost which will mean a new wheel, so not ready to change now. If i go for the 150mm, you can probably change the air shaft to 140mm but not really confident with myself for messing a new fork. So my question is: any 5010 riders using 150mm travel fork and are happy with it? Does the bike handle with no issue? Do you feel you are riding like god?

cheers

Gilles

Changing the air shaft really really is an easy job. If you're really not up for it i'm sure a decent bike shop will do it for an hours labour. maybe just try it at 150mm first and if you don't like it changing the airshaft shouldn't be a reason not to, especially when the alternative is to get a fork that necessitates the change of your wheel.
