Got a race in 8 weeks and kind of want to get in shape...:(

Any recommendations for a book to create a training plan or similar?

Cheers

Graeme Obree's book is supposed to be excellent.

I don't do training so wouldn't know...

Very good book.
Probably a little too much for 8 weeks though!
.
We talking fitness training or skills training?

8 weeks to go none of the training plans in books will help.

The Time Crunched Cyclist has some short-duration program's I.e. last a few weeks.

But tbh, best thing you can do is ride LOTS in the next 7 weeks and take it easy the week before your race.

Other obvious advice is lose weight. ๐Ÿ™‚

What Digger said, try to get used to race level efforts and distances without tiring yourself out, that's all you can do now.
