After having my Carrera runaround/hack/pub bike nicked last night from outside the gym - I need a replacement
Has anyone seen any bargains anywhere - sub £250?
this doesn't look too shabby for £219, would do as a gym/pub bike

I'd have thought a crappy drop-bar bike would be less nickable than even a cheapo mtb and would therefore be a better pub/hack bike
I tend to use it with the kids when camping etc. so at least a hybrid sort of thing really
I wouldn't care but I recently gave away most of my old spares or I could have thrown something together quite quickly
I agree with jfeb - drop bar bikes are much less desirable. Specialized are especially nickable imo - most famous/common 'proper' bike brand.
