Pretty much any 650B frame will work I'd have thought. I had 26+ (2.8 WTB Rangers on 29mm internal rims) in a mk1 Cotic Flare and I had them in a mk1 BFe 275 as well-

How did they ride?
Ok I suppose. They gripped nicely and rolled ok once they were going and there was a certain monster truck quality to the bike (Flare) with them on but they made loads more sense on the BFe. It's probably telling that I don't use them any more though, I have 26 x 2.4 Trail Kings front & rear on 23mm internal rims on my Switchback now which are loads lighter and more 'fun'.
I would think about availability (current and future) of tyres first.
