hit the gnarly option lines.

๐Ÿ˜†

Interesting to see them ruling out a front derailleur altogether in favour of the 'right' geometry and tyre clearance.

Now THAT looks like a fun 29er. They might have outdone the Nimble9 there.

Quit while you're ahead - you've never kept one long enough to find out...

Are you striking today? - Hence your presence during school hours? ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

fair point.
other than the ability to run tapered forks, a different BB and the 68 deg HT....is this really that different than the yelli screamy or paradox or whatever??? FWIW, on a bike like this, i reckon the tyre choice is gonna have waaaay more impact on cush and feel than frame material.
I might be going out on a limb here, but...could it be that some company is trying to make another buck?

Kona appears to be meeting a demand for these sorts of bikes. The short cs, slack ha 29er might be currently 'in-trend' but who can blame a bike company for wanting to sell bikes?

It is very simialr to Y-S, Paradox etc but these are not widely available. Personally I think it's great that a big(ish) bike company (and one whose bikes have perhaps been a bit 'old-fashioned' recently??) is doing something like this.

FWIW, on a bike like this, i reckon the tyre choice is gonna have waaaay more impact on cush and feel than frame material.

I agree - but you can also run this one as a ss (I think).
