Now, although I have no sympathy for thieving scrote like this bloke- it would have been a harsh sentence with no trial if he had fallen under the wheels of the van.

If you imagine a scene where they tasered him without trying to detain him first, I'm sure that people would have objections to that.

Lazy policing if you ask me, which no one did, so I'll get my coat.

Simple tactic used by police all over the world - so why should it be any different here?
Scrote steals - scrote loses all rights to be treated like a law abiding citizen.

18 minutes since posting and no one has mentioned the Chelsea tractor parked in the the cycle lane?

Loses some rights, we still use innocent until proven guilty here.

Reasonable use of force to apprehend the suspect. (lardman, I expect if he was on the other side of the van there may be a need to take more care during the apprehension phase).

The 'bike rider' was a known thief so I'm sure the police were applying their 'discretion'
