I've got a 2015 Kona Unit that I normally ride, and I love it. Tempted to get a 2016 Hei Hei Race to smooth out the trail a bit. Anyone got one? Reviews look ok, just wanted some owner feedback.
I have a 2016 DL Trail and really enjoy it. It's a fun bike to ride, handles well, yet climbs and descends well in my opinion. I think it is a good frame design without being overly expensive or complicated.
Winstanleys Bikes has the 2016 race for £1299. Is that a good buy? I've never had a full suspension bike before. Curious to know how it compares to others.
No idea on price I'm afraid only you can compare to alternatives and decide.
If it is your first full suspension, then you really need to try a few and see what feels right or more importantly, what feels wrong as different designs ride differently. I've been mountain biking since the early nineties so have ridden a few bikes in my time and know what suits me, where and how I ride. I ready didn't get on with a circa 2008 Orange 5 for example whereas many love how they ride
Same story here, started riding in the early nineties on a Kona Lava Dome. Been road riding mostly since, but I have been rediscovering mountain biking recently on my 2015 Kona Unit. I like the look of the Hei He and I'm complete sold on 29er wheels.
Probably best to ride a few, tempted though with the Hei Hei
