Just bodged together a new red LED light from Mr Trout with a front light I made and some stuff to convert the AC from a Shimano XT dynohub.
Despite being mostly held together with gaffa tape, it works! Certainly bright enough for the commute on unlit roads. Will need some backup though, as it goes out when I stop - the LED drivers suck all the charge out of the capacitors in the rectifier.
