Sorry don't know how to do the link thing I'm sure someone far more clever than me can 🙄 but it appears Lynskey have gone a bit wobbly ? 🤔

Chapter 11 proceedings in the USA it seems.

https://www.cyclingweekly.com/news/american-titanium-bike-brand-lynskey-files-for-bankruptcy-protection-frames-offered-at-significant-discount

That's a restructuring/reorganization process under court protection.

I assume a CW link is OK but mods please remove if not.

Didn't Lynskey already go through bankruptcy in the 2010s?

Still not good, mind

There are some very cheap frames on offer at the moment. Not sure what impact import taxes / tariffs might have.

That said, their gravel frames seem quite traditional geometry...

They've had some absolute bargain frames on sale for a few months. I was very tempted.

Do seem to be a lot of very nice, niche frame builders in the US now, possibly too much competition

I think they maybe fall down the cracks these days of not being niche enough for the beardy lot to pay lots of money to, but not having the sales volume of the more mainstream brands?

Didn’t they make the Planet X Ti bikes years ago? Though I can’t remember if they were US made or not.

Possibly. I know some were made by Van Nicholas.

They definitely made the On one Inbred Ti 29 around 15 years ago.

Mine cracked and was sent back to them for repair.
