My bike makes various noises. My Thomson seat post and stem click - I have nick named it the Thomson tick. My very expensive ceramic bottom bracket creaks and my RP23 shock quacks when it locked off. What noises does your bike make?

Rattling brake lever type noises, cured by removing dried mud from inside the bar-ends.

rear disc isn't completely flat but it only moans at low speed. However, as that's all I can do on the uphills, it can get really annoying...

and I think my knees make a funny noise

and my lungs

My Roadbikes and SS mtb are stealthy silent till service time.

My Zaskar creaked a bi*ch when new at BB but silent since diet and HT2.

Now the saddle creaks-I've had 2 go so I'm dieting and using grease paper on the rails. Other than that its good.

My bikes hum at speed-QR in wind.

The bars on one of my SS's have been creaking for a few days, I took them off to investigate and found this.

I used to get a creaking noise from my Soda that I thought was either headset or BB related, although changing them didn't cure it.

Then I washed the bike and found 2 cracks in the downtube.

The moral of that story is "never wash your bike".

Powerful jetwash...

My brakes squeek like hell. I think it's the bike's way of telling me to MTFU and brake less.

Sounds like you need to invest in some copperslip.

None,

Only thanks to taping down the rear brake line to the TT, otherwise it was like riding with a bell on permanantly!
