My bike makes various noises. My Thomson seat post and stem click - I have nick named it the Thomson tick. My very expensive ceramic bottom bracket creaks and my RP23 shock quacks when it locked off. What noises does your bike make?
none
my swingarm made a lot of odd noises, I found 5 cracks in it
Rattling brake lever type noises, cured by removing dried mud from inside the bar-ends.
my bikes complain from time to time.
same stuff, seatpost to seat squeaks, bb noises sometimes and pedals moaning.
no idea why tho....
the engine wheezes on uphills
I can't hear mine over the puffing and panting
annoying 'click' when putting pressure down on left hand crank, have tried undoing, re-tightening crank bolts etc, still no joy.....
My Selle SLR has just started to squeak ,damn that's annoying.
Snap, crackle and pop!
rear disc isn't completely flat but it only moans at low speed. However, as that's all I can do on the uphills, it can get really annoying...
and I think my knees make a funny noise
and my lungs
My Roadbikes and SS mtb are stealthy silent till service time.
My Zaskar creaked a bi*ch when new at BB but silent since diet and HT2.
Now the saddle creaks-I've had 2 go so I'm dieting and using grease paper on the rails. Other than that its good.
My bikes hum at speed-QR in wind.
The bars on one of my SS's have been creaking for a few days, I took them off to investigate and found this.

I used to get a creaking noise from my Soda that I thought was either headset or BB related, although changing them didn't cure it.
Then I washed the bike and found 2 cracks in the downtube.
The moral of that story is "never wash your bike".
Powerful jetwash...
My brakes squeek like hell. I think it's the bike's way of telling me to MTFU and brake less.
My latest acquisition sounds a bit like [url=
but it's far from annoying ๐
Sounds like you need to invest in some copperslip.
None,
Only thanks to taping down the rear brake line to the TT, otherwise it was like riding with a bell on permanantly!
very strange noises from the headset - until I took it apart and
found one very, VERY sorry cartridge bearing !!!
Rule 1 - service my bike.
Rule 2 - see rule 1 :-]
amazing what a bit of love does to a bike....
drivechain on the commuter is a bit noisy these days, it has lasted about three years though.
