Vallnord and Soldeu bike parks are good, but I've only been to Alpe D'Huez biking in the alps to compare to.

Depends what you like but I quite enjoyed the fact we seemed to be the only British people there. 🙂

Better weather than the alps. Well worth a trip, the bike parks are good, the locals are friendly and its not far to La Molina/Ax les Thermes/Les Angles for a bit of road tripping.

My favourite european biking destination.

Plenty of sun loungers on the terrace at Valnord and the mid station at soldeau. Food on site at both and loads of activities at Valnord. Hotels and campsites have pools. Some nice walking around as well. But, neither soldeau or la massana have much in the way of shopping. Andorra la viella (sp) looked pretty good for shopping though.

Yup I don't remember much in the resorts but it's not far to the main town which I think is meant to be tax-free shopping-tastic. Certainly ads everywhere for cheap fashion, electronics etc.

As I've said before, Andorra isn't the most charming place in the world though (in the main populated areas at least).

Each to his own I suppose, I love the place.

Too many billboards, petrol stations and high rise apartment blocks for my liking.

I didn't hate it at all, it just didn't seem to have that much 'character' (in the main towns/resorts at least). No worse than plenty of the French ski resorts though.

Is it only the bike parks or is there a bit of lift assisted xc?
