coincidentally to the thread on bike racking recently I purchased a few of these

intending to hook the kids bikes up and as non of the bikes weigh >11-12 kg they will be adequate, however - I am really struggling to find 31mm channel

it needs to be 31mm wide with a 12mm opening - does anyone have any idea where i can get this in the UK ?

You'd really be better sending yours back or selling on and getting the ones in the original thread. The Unistrut that uses is a standard industrial product and very cheap.

I needed a few metres for the bike rack I made for my van, similar application for roller bearings to run in, and it was bought from stock at my local electrical supplier.
