Going to Lakes for weekend to do natural stuff on Sat and Sun but was thinking of doing one of these to unwind this afternoon. But which one? Done TNF before so tempted to do Altura but we are staying in Great Langdale so Grizedale is closer.

A vote for the Altura from me

Just do it twice or something local nearby to make a ride of it.

Altura is much more fun imo - quite a good contrast to the natural stuff as it is bermy and jumpy.

Doesn't need to be a long ride as we are down for the whole weekend and doing a big ride tomorrow and just want to stretch the legs a bit after the drive down.

The top section of the south side is now open. Just need someone to explain to me what they were trying to achieve when they built it.
