I need to post a frame but having no luck getting a frame box from any of the local shops - does anyone have any tried and tested recommendations for BluePeter style readily available alternatives eg packing boxes from removal company cut to size etc.
I'm sure there's a lot of possibilities, but some first hand suggestions would be gratefully received!
cheers

Just use a bike box and fill it out, or cut it down.

A child's bike box? Should be about the right size. I'm sure a bike shop will have one, even if they don't have a frame specific one. Or try Halfords. They sell a lot of kid's bikes

Lots of bubble wrap, loads of small boxes, wrap frame in bubble wrap then lay boxes flat and tape together before wrapping around frame

What about a tv box, should be more readily available than a frame box.

I've often cut down full bike boxes.

Or taped a couple of wheel boxes together.

Sorry - should have mentioned that i'd had no luck getting either a frame box or a complete bike box, so those aren't an option currently.
TV box is a good shout though...will look into that
cheers
