STW Massiv,
I have some superstar pads that are fairly explicit about 20 big stoppies until the pads are hot then sizzle with water. Fair enough I say.

But...how about I use my plumbing soldering gas heater to heat the pads until pretty hot then drench with water?
All the stoppies are doing is generating heat (the friction isn't changing the moleculer structure) so my quick and easy alternative should, theoretically, do the job non?
Thoughts appreciated.
Cheers
James

Another one here that just rides, I used to bed them in but gave up after realising it made no discernible difference to mere mortals

I can live with the first few applications not being 100%
