I know that they had a bad rep in this period, but I got them cheap S/H and so far (3 rides!), they seem fine. Off to Les Arcs in a couple of months, and they seem like the ideal fork to take, but I'm worried that they'll fail horribly in 5 minutes and my holiday will be over! 🙂
If I send them off to Windwave, is there anything they can do to allay my fears? Rather not have to splash out on new forks if poss.

there was a mod for these that involved turning the cartridge into an open bath by drilling some holes in it, i think the procedure was on mtbr somewhere
marzocchi usa were doing this mod too or they may just offer a newer cart
