I have been asked to make an alpine link for a friends marin to slacken the head angle and lower the bb a bit. We are off to the alps in june so i need to slot it in before then.
It will be as easy to make a batch as make one. anyone else interested? Not worked it out yet, i need to model it up and do the programming to see what the machining time is but i reckon they should be iro 50 quid plus bearings, a bit less if i get a decent sized batch.
it is going to be 6082 or 2014
edit - mods, if this should be in classified, sorry.
Might be worth bearing in mind this post... (I wasn't aware of a difference TBH)

Alpinelinks work for quad tara 2004/2005. But there are different sizes for the 06.Jay

My brother's has the alpine (2004 model) and it definitely made it a better bike.
well spotted. i will model it up and put up a piccy with the important dimensions. if the differences are minor it wont be any bother to do 2 variants.
