[Closed] Alpine break thoughts.

Booked a week off work last week of August but flight-times don't work for me to go to AQR in Luchon, so looking for info wrt alternatives. Prob is i have to catch a mid-pm flight from Gatwick (ideally) as working the morning holiday starts. So looking for a destination that's easy to get to from the airport (within 1-1/2 to 2 hrs) - prefer to do a guided trailriding week on a hirebike with transfers included. Ischgl/Saalbach hard to get to and Bike Verbier full and OTP transfer looks a faff so it's looking like PdS from Geneva but any suggestions welcome. Soz if i'm not explaining this too clearly...
