Had to flip the sprocket over on my Alfine 8 for the chain run to line up on the 853 Inbred build. This is just a short pictorial of the sequence that might be useful to people.
First off, the components laid out in the order they go on the hub, back to front.
First off, bare hub
Then shield washer
Then sprocket, which sits into 3 grooves
Then the cheeky spring clip.
I got this on using two screwdrivers, and by easing it over one tang first, then working it around until the other end tang slotted home. Took a minute.
Then the weatherproofing seal
Then the shifting washer
Then the red dotted pawl
Then the locking washer, which has two pressings which locate into the hub on the back side
and fitted
Then the shifting arm,
which can be a bit tricky as it has to line up on the shifting washer, and also sit flush in order to fit the locking tab, which you do by lining up the yellow dots and then twisting 90' clockwise
and done
