Bought a red Crane Cycling softshell jacket with zip off sleeves about 6 months or so ago in XL - lost weight and now need the large!

Searched a few stores in hope but nothing!

Anyone know if there is a secret website for the left over special buys??

Sportpursuit? Seems to be where everything else ends up.

It sits in the cages slowly getting reduced until it's gone.

Done ebay - guy has them listed in S and M but sold out of large.

I figured it would get sold off cheap - will have to keep hunting!

I'll check... But I suspect I went L => XL

Let me check what's in the 'box of cycling kit that doesn't fit anymore'

Apparently our local Aldi are holding a "car boot sale" in the adjacent car park next week ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Not the most obvious category

Still within the edit timeframe but think that would ruin the accidental comedy of it!!

Let me check what's in the 'box of cycling kit that doesn't fit anymore'

Thanks m0rk - appreciated

I don't think they have excess stock left over. All the STWers purchase every last bit saying it'll keep them supplied for years to come (or until the next time they release biking kit), I'm sure there must be people on here with warehouses full of the stuff (just in case).
Personally I've found some of it reasonably good and lasts well, although some of the previous stuff looks cheap and crap.

Around our way it's all gone by lunchtime on the day it's released.

I think Lidl get's shuffled around the country depending on where it's popular, certain stuff seems to re-appear a month later in out local one, you can tell it's not new stock because the boxes are open and don't look 'new'.

Probably more applicable to leftover chainsaws in central London than cycling kit which I can't imagine struggles to sell anywhere in particular.

I would imagine that if there are any of the 6 quid velcro closing gloves left then they'll be in an evidence locker for the upcoming court case with Endura.

I have a couple of pairs of Endura Full Monty gloves and , other than the logo and the pattern of the grippy finger stuff, the Aldi ones are indistinguishable from them.

I might have one from a few years ago, which is probably the same... if you want it.
Oh wait, doesn't have zippy sleeves.

Rapha do a replacement service on their classic range if you loose weight.
I know its totally no help, I just dig the fact they do it.

Thanks for the offer funkyweasel but its specifically the zip sleeves one I am after - a different Aldi checked today with no joy!

Think I'll have to go on the hunt for a different convertible jacket!

And thanks Jay - never know they may have it back in!!

Bought a Garmin 25, really chuffed.

Maybe staff buy the stuff at a reduced price?
