Anyone riding a small or medium, and how tall are you? I'm 5.7-5.8 and think I should go for a small as I don't usually like too long a reach.

What do you guys ride?

I have a med v1, I'm 5'10"

Fits me well, doesn't feel too long. 35mm stem keeps every thing centred. I'm in Hebden if you're local and fancy a go on one

I'm 5'6" on a small. Running a 35mm stem. I'm comparatively longer in body and shorter of leg, so the slightly longer reach suits me well. Marsden (Huddersfield) based if you want to sling a leg over.

I'm 5'10" and the wife is 5'9". With most brands, I can chop and change between medium and large but with the airdrop, large felt too much, both the wife and I were happy on the medium.

What do you ride currently?

5’10” and a little bit and have a Medium Edit V2. I’m running a 35mm stem 800mm bars. This bike feels a good fit to me. Most mediums are a bit too small.

I’ve got a 170mm dropper in slammed as low it’ll go. When it’s up it’s at the perfect hight for me to pedal.

If you’re 2-3” shorter then me then you might only be able to get away with a 125mm dropper in a medium frame.

Just something to think about. You defiantly need to get your leg over one.

My 6ft mate rides a large Edit v1 with a 35mm stem and a 150mm dropper (slammed). At 5'7" I'd definitely choose a medium, probably with a 35mm stem and a 125mm dropper would be most I could fit in. I currently ride a medium Bird so used to longer reach bikes.

Cheers guys, I'm based in Birmingham so I might well try and get a few hours off work and head up to Airdrop to check the sizing out. My current bike is relatively short on the reach compared to today's standards so not sure what I would prefer. Thanks for the info

Another one on a medium here, 5' 10ish, 35mm stem and 760 bars, feels bob on.

Drop Airdrop an email or give them a call, I've found them really decent to deal with.

I'm sort of longer in leg than torso if that makes sense? I' running a 150mm dropper on my medium. Not slammed maybe 15mm of post out the frame. Ed and James are pretty helpful with stuff like that

Would definitely try them out if you can get up there   Ed's tremendously helpful. To be honest I wouldn't  fixate on the numbers:  they don't feel odd once you're riding them.

I'm 5'8" and was on a V1 medium with 40mm stem. I chatted to Ed about sizes before I bought mine and medium seemed the best option. Felt just fine, the extra standover on the V2 frames probably helps a bit more too.
