The trees are coming down on the hill where the last descent, Zig Zags, drops you down to the cycle path. So, make the most of it as work is starting ASAP.

Real shame - might have to make a trip up pronto. the felled bits are so much worse than the non felled. Also think I'd be scared riding zig-zags with no trees to give you the illusion of safety 😳

Gutted. Losing the trees on the Whytes climb ruined it for me, loads more erosion, more rocks, no flow just the endless reminder that you hadn't actually climbed far and there was still loads to go.

Can only imagine the erosion and therefore rockiness will be worse on the ZigZag DH. 🙁

I'm going there next month...does anyone know when the work is starting...I guess they'll be diverting the trail during the felling?
