Hello.
Managed to smash my rear mech off the other day whilst descending. Chain wrapped itself around and behind the cassette scoring some spokes.
Stripped bike tonight in order to repair and wondering how much of a problem the damage to the spokes is.
Do I -
A. Rebuild bike with wheel as it is and.wait and see if the spokes fail.
B. Take it lbs and ask for them to replace all the damaged spokes
C. Buy a new wheel
Having just forked out for new drive train, a would be my preferred for a short while, until I can save up for either a rebuild or new wheel. However if it just gonna collapse first ride, then I will spend the money now. Just want to get riding asap

edit: can see the spokes. Replace the damaged spokes only. Only replace the wheel if the bearings, freehub and rim are goosed too. Or if the cost of replacing the spokes is greater than a new wheel. Which it won't be.
Thought as much.
