Hi All,
After some advice please: have replaced the push-fit bottom bracket of my alloy YT Jeffsy (BB92) with some Hope bearings, as the race-face bearings barely lasted a winter...
Even purchased the Hope fitting tool, which made getting the new bearings fitted easy.
Problem is, I have a creaky bottom bracket when I put the power down.
I fitted the bearings with a smidgen of standard bike grease to help fitting. Should I have done this? Or should I have used: a) no grease, b) smear of copper grease, c) smear of a.n.other compound?
Or does anyone have any other tips/tricks they can share, please?
TIA
