anybody got any recommendations for accommodation in chamonix

I've let mountain base sort us out for the last two years. Great service and both apartments exceeded expectations for their respective budgets.

No idea if it is what you are looking for but you'd fit 20 bikes in the cave.

There's everything from hostels to 5 star hotels.

Have you got a budget, are you bothered about location and what style do you prefer - flat, chalet, hotel etc?

Hotel vert...cheap/good grub...only downer is out of town but ive been twice now and it's good...

MBMB have a nice chalet near Tacconaz, 5 mins down the valley from Chamonix on the train. Think they only do B+B though, so worth checking that.

Sorry should have given more detail.

Looking for function over features,not overly £££ and something pretty central.

Too old for hostels, would prefer self catering although happy to look at hotels as long as they're bike friendly.
