[#2398760]

I'm buying oil and lower leg service kits for my Reba and Rev forks.

Do I need an 'air service kit' AND an 'air u-turn kit' for my u-turn forks, or is the 'air service kit' for non u-turn forks, meaning I need to just choose the correct one?

Sorry for the numpty question...

If you're just doing a lower leg service you don't neccesarily need anything- you only replace the seals and wipers if they're worn. Lower leg service is clean, fluid change, grease seals, lube foams.

My Reba's can just make do with a lower leg service but my Revs (which are about 4 years old) have never had a service ๐Ÿ™„ and feel pretty crap after the winter.

I was going to treat the Revs to new air seals as I have a riding honeymoon in Canada coming up, once in a lifetime sort of thing.

The forks don't appear to be losing air or leaking between pos and neg chambers, but the service guide does say it should be done every 100 hours...they've probably done three or four times that...

So should I do them or just stick with a lower leg service?

Don't know really, just was going off your first post... I think personally I'd open them up and have a look and probably do them a lowers service and see what comes of that.

You just need an Air U-Turn kit for the air side if you have U-Turn, the Air version is different. All the manuals are on the RS web site as PDFs btw, plus some good 'how to' video walk-throughs on YouTube.
