He was doing really well until he dabbed at 02:56 and ran over some poor fella's Jack Russell at 03:44..

Seriously - I was thinking "I could do that" before that first gap jump on the limestone pinnacles. Really impressive. Any ideas where in Spain it was filmed?

TBH I found the constant changes from slowmo to speeded up a bit hard to get my head around to the point where I wasn't sure of what the reality was.

Great skills and location though.

Great video but I am not too sure that was Mijas. This is what it looks like from the telecoms towers, which didn't seem to be the same either.

Very nice, thanks for that! Love that photo rich.. The quarry and the rocky trails are above Mijas..

Ah - in that case I know where it is, although I didn't ride that particular stretch. Seems like I may have missed out on some top switchbacks (although obviously I could never even ride half of what was in the video).

I think the switchbacks are above mijas, the ones with Mijas in the background, from the quarry, there are some nice parts on that trail but it isn't 100% rideable by normals..!

He's definitely been to Malaga with Switchbacks, I overheard a conversation in the shop he works at.

I like those big drops down to flat in the quarry, just looks effortless.

It is Mijas alright. The opening shot looks like the view from the inlaws place. Not got to take the bike out there yet but that has convinced me.

Kevin

There are quite a few different trails immediately around Mijas. Not just mad downhill stuff but there is a lot of great XC stuff too. In that photo of me, behind me is a smaller mountain range and you can ride all the way around the back of it where there are more trails.

And of course in Fuengirola nearby you have the DH tracks too, but I never rode those ones when I was living out there.

Simon,
The inlaws live at the top of La Cala and there seem to be a few trails very local to them. The brotherinlaw has a road bike he keeps out there and he's met up with a few locals so I'm sure they can show us the way next time. Lovely area.

It isn't one trail, it's a mix of a lot of stuff round here. Chris and Victor were tooling about for a week all over here doing that suff.

Good though, innit?
