Literally, that is. Mrs Johnny enjoys a ride, but she is far more into the descending than the ups, she takes on plenty of technical bits on a fairly bog standard XC hardtail no problem, as well as being a great skier, so I reckon she'd love more Alpine/DH riding.

At about 5'4" and 50 odd kg, she doesn't need huge travel, but something slacker for the downs would help?

After a bit of thought, I reckon a Titus FTM in XS size, with 140 up front? it could be slacked off with a slackset and even offset bushings if needed.

Any suggestions? Ta!

My missus is 5'2 and rides a small Hemlock. Seems like a great bike.

So is that a small frame? I'm thinking of the Titus as i know they have always done XS frames.

Ibis Mojo? Small size would fit due to short top tube.

What does she think. Would suggest getting along to Some demos or at least getting her on some of them.

Good call with the Mojo, though it would make me jealous... it really needs a TT of 21-21.5 inches, so that would be the upper limit. Worth adding to the list!

i should add this will be a budget build, as i'll only get in trouble if i get too excited....

Demos would be ideal, though wee girls bikes aren't so common. (it's getting better though) especially for bigger bikes?

How about the Orange Five Diva, bit priceyer than the Titus though.
