Hi, does anyone know if i can use a 9 speed x7 medium cage mech with shimano's hg61 12-36 cassette? Am currently running 1x9 with a 32 front ring but would like the option of a 36 rear cassette without the expense of going 1 x 10, just not sure if the x7 mech has enough clearance with the big cassette. Thanks

Don't know about x7 but xt medium works fine with a 36 on the back and a 36 on the front. T
