Dear stw'ers,
I'm looking to change my chain as its just reached the .75 mark. The xt cassette is still fine. Is there any performance difference between the above chains to warrant paying for xt over deore?
Also can I use a sram powerlink with a shimano chain?

Buy KMC X9.93. Better (performance/quality/durability) than any of those chains. Comes with its own 'Powerlink'.

Just get a kmc or SRAM chain, they work fine with shimano, and seem better quality to me.
A power link will work fine with shimano chains though
