[Closed] 9 speed 10speed triple STI shimano compatability question

emergency question with road content

i know should have updated from 9 speed but up to today my old Ultrega's worked fine thank you but with no warning the triple "front" lever jammed solid - won't pull cable (cable OK, mech ok)

mrs antigee is injured so next weekend supposed to use her challenge ride entry
don't think can pick up a 9 speed STI very easily so:

can i take the 105 front 10 speed triple STI off her bike? - is 9/10speed pull the same?

i actually run an XT front mech and an MTB "touring" chainset so smooth clean shifting isn't the issue - actually as a road ride i only need big and middle to shift
