My 4iiii wont pair with the 735xt at all.
Any one experianced this and got round it ?
Pairs with my edge 500 in seconds and also my phone with the app.
Has a new battery and up to date firm ware.
Answers on a postcard please
Oh and I am holding it within the 1cm 4iiii and. Garmin say for pairing with 4iiii or stages cranks pms
I’ve paired a 4iiii power meter to a 735XT before (admittedly it was a couple of years ago) so it’s definitely possible.
Their tech support is pretty good.
Have you ran the 4iiii app and checked for firmware updates? I had to update mine ~2 years ago.

First thing I did.
Turns out the issue was at the watch. Deleted all the power sensors I had paired and then repaired. Job done in seconds. Annoying
