Any recommendations. Seems to be paucity of choice

Where in Derbyshire? It has got a reasonable range of terrain from sand to limestone to loam to peat to other rocky stuff....

If you spend half your time on rocks or moors, then I don't tend to change tyres for winter.
Mainly because I still want width, whereas most effective mud tyres are narrow.
If you go into clay soil often, then you'll suffer, but I don't tend to.

Running a specialized purgatory 2.3 grid to rear and Wtb Vigilante 2.3 front both tubeless and not felt the need to change , Happy to run in the mud and rock fields
