Ok, I'm debating whether to keep or sell an old 26er frame. Having offered it up, I know a 650b Nic 2.25 rear on Flow EX fits with less than ideal clearance.

The question is really 'should I'?

Am I likely to find issues over an actual 650b frame if I do this?

IMHO it makes a bad bike out of a good frame and a good wheel.

Fair dos, was what I was thinking to be honest.

Leaves me debating building wheels for it or just letting go, then...

Why not put a big-ish 26inch tyre in the back and either 650 front or even try out a 69er?

I have tried both set-ups on an old Mmmbop and a slack FS. They are both a real hoot but as 69ers more hooty.

Mind you, I don't like low BB's and I do like narrow bars so what do I know?

Why not try it? Some of my favourite bikes have been from unlikely builds.

If you don't like it, ditch the frame and get a 650b one.

67.5+ er here, 26 out back 27.5x2.8 front, better than a skinny 27.5 jammed in the back i reckon
