Anyone had experience of fitting a 46t cassette (sunrace in this case) onto a roval 142 plus hub ?
The clearance between the larger cogs on the cassette and the back of the xt m8000 cable pully arm is seriously tight, in fact as the chain jumps as it shifts across it may even touch it.
I'm guessing it may be the case of the larger cogs on the 46 and the cassette being 2mm nearer to the mech due to the hub being 142plus.
It's on a transition smuggler and not a spesh if it makes any difference.

Not on that specific hub, but a very similar issue on my production privee hardtail.
I fitted a Goatlink which solved the clearance issue.
My cable holder arm thing was actually hitting the biggest cog.

That's sounds like what I need after googling it. Took the mech off twice to make sure I had it on right and just couldn't figure out what was wrong!
Cheers.
Bang goes another £25 on the build 🙁

It's a weird one, but mine seemed to have issues with the dropouts and where the little tab that stops the mech rotating put the mech linkage. Mine ended up going very uphill which caused the issues, not horizontal as most mech linkages seem to be when you look at them.

Have a skim through my thread about it here...

Hope you sort it.
