With previous bikes, i've gone through quite a few mech hangers over the years, usually twigs jamming in the mech and causing them to snap - saving the frame and mech in the process.

i've just fitted the swapouts to my new 456C frame, and the hanger one looks very strong. Too strong? Am I going to snap the frame / break the mech before the hanger snaps?

Has anyone broken the hanger?

How about just looking where you're going?

Evening Russell. Nice new bike that you have - try not to break it.
