I've just got one, and I love it. wasted as a towing bike IMO, but for the price you can't go wrong

just got one off the classifieds as I wanted longer forks than my Inbred would take. very happy with it. I use it for towing 'weekdays' and proper ridign at the weekend.

either that or s/h

I've a 18" dmr switchback I was thinking of building as a SS for commuting, but don't really need it. £75 delivered to Swinley/anywhere nearby.

Yes mine is great as a 69er and a long travel hardtail. Very very versatile:

I should clarify. I have a Kona Dew set aside for towing currently, but I might want to tow during the week when I am away from home. I currently bring my Orange 5 with me, but apparently towing with a FS is bad. So either I bring the Dew and don't shred trails much, bring two bikes (difficult) or I convert the 5 to a HT and shred trails and tow when needed 🙂

TINAS - possibly interested.. is it a SS only frame? And big enough for a 5'11 averagely proportioned hunk of meat?

Its 18", slightly shorter than my 456 (I used a 90mm stem, 456 now has a 60), I'm 6ft with stubby legs and a long torso.

Its geared with the ritchey style dropouts, AFAIK the new decade/kinesis virsa frames are identical in all but tubing so good for 100mm-140mm forks. Its been powder coated red, not the neatest job but fine untill you get up close, and I do have a couple of sets of spare decals and a new head badge somewhere for it.
