how big are your legs, how far do you go, how much up?
how 42a is the 42a?
Is this for the smorgasboard? It's about £20 so give it a go

It is like pedaling square wheels through treacle.

With a slow puncture.

For DH racing yes but don't expect a long life span.

For xc, it will be draggy but don't expect a long life span, although as the tread blocks go they do speed up a bit.

Tarmac will give your legs a real good work out, bit like riding into a headwind 🙂

they are dual compound 42 on the edges, 60 in the middle.

They roll Ok probably similar to a 3C DHR II to be honest I wasn't blown away by the SB It is ok but that is it. Chunky Monkey is a crazy grippy tyre a leach on roots but doesn't roll fast.
