[Closed] 425mm Rigid Disc Fork - Options?

[#5759364]

Looking on the web and it seems options are limited these days for a disc only fork.

Either Pace RC31 but don't really want carbon.

Or

Salsa Cromoto but in 425mm it comes with both disc and v tabs - so I would have to grind of the v tabs and repaint.

Any other options or anything lurking in some bodies shed?

Looked at those but I'm after a 'traditional' uni crown type fork like the old Kona Project 2s.

It's a retro frame so think the exotic type forks would look a bit odd.

I have a set of singular peregrine forks that sound a bit like what you are after.

425mm A2C, disc only, lugged steel but are 700c/29er (take up to 2.0 rubber though).

Have been flash sprayed satin commuter black.

Saccades - are you interested in selling the forks?

The Soma CroMo forks look gorgeous, although the smallest a-c is 440mm, or about 80mm travel with sus forks.

The longest Peregrine forks are 410 a-c. I have a set of unicrown ones which I could do extremely cheaply if you are willing to pursue the 'what's lurking in the shed' angle? Mail me if interested.

sounds like you're sorted.

I went down the grindy painty route with the cromotos. I was getting a frame done anyway, so chucked them in the same box.
